Contraseña Magazine Recognizes St. Stephen Gold Medal Design Award
Contraseña has been published in Santiago by Juan Pablo Figueroa since 2000 and is recognized as the leading graphic design magazine of Chile. It focuses on the best and brightest accomplishments in relational marketing and graphic design for consumer products. Among Chilean design award winners (Siegwerk, Canon, Concha y Toro, Undurraga, and the National History Museum) Issue 196 features an article about our graphic designer, Marisol Pirazzoli, and her recent gold medal award from the Los Angeles International Wine competition for our Malbec label. Congratulations Marisol!

Los Angeles International Wine Competition 2022 Results
Now in its 83rd year, the Los Angeles International Wine Competition has showcased the finest domestic and international vintages through a wine-tasting event that is widely considered to be one of the most prestigious in the United States. An esteemed panel of judges use a blind-tasting method, maintaining the highest standards of integrity and professionalism that has remained the competition’s foundation. St. Stephen Vineyards entered our Malbec, which won a Gold Medal among all wines for its label design, and a Bronze Medal among Malbec wines. We’re grateful for their recognition.

San Francisco International Wine Competition 2021 Results
The SFIWC is one of the largest—and most influential—wine competitions in North America, founded on the principles Legacy, Integrity, and Experience. In a three day a blind tasting, the SFIWC recognized three of our wines, awarding a silver medal to our 2019 Oda al Vino Organic Carmenere, a silver medal to our 2018 Am Organic Carmenere, and a bronze medal to our 2018 Am Organic Malbec, recognizing each as an outstanding wine that shows refinement, finesse, and complexity; these winners are among the best examples of its particular category. We’re grateful for their recognition.

St. Stephen Launches New Wine
St. Stephen is proud to launch a new wine, our Am Organic Carmenere Reserve (2018 vintage). Winemaker José Antonio Bravo describes it “This wine has a beautiful intense, dark red-violet color, very nice fruit aromas, soft body, medium soft body, and pleasant tannins. It is an excellent wine to pair with smoked, grilled or roasted meats including chicken, pork, lamb, beef and veal.” The new wine has received strong interest among customers and wine enthusiasts.

ProChile Wine Tasting
ProChile sponsored a wine tasting, to which 20 of Chile’s top artisanal vineyards were invited. Each participant was allowed to submit up to 3 wines. Judging was based on blind taste testing. Winners were announced at the end. First place St. Stephen’s new Am Carmenere 2018 wine. Second place St. Stephen’s Cabernet Sauvignon 2018.

St. Stephen Organic Vineyard Wines Auctioned at St. Stephen Church Belvedere
St. Stephen wines were auctioned at the Art Angels Fair, a fundraising event since 1995 at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Belvedere, California. About 250 people attended the event, and the wines were well received at the silent auction, generating generous donations for the church, the parish, and the Belvedere-Tiburon community.

St. Stephen Organic Vineyards is honored to present at the annual United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP25) in Madrid, on December 3, at 15:00 on the topic of "How Businesses Can Maximize Impact on Mitigating Climate Change". The conference serves as the annual formal meeting of the UNFCCC Parties to assess progress in dealing with climate change, and to establish legally binding obligations for developed countries to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions and to create a general path towards positive climate action. Greta Thunberg will also be addressing this conference.
